Why should I use Cold-Pressed Soap?

Natural! Natural! Natural! Is what Cold Pressed soap is all about! It is bringing soap back to basics how it was years and years ago back to our grandparents’ time, not mass produced. Also, cold pressed soap contains natural oils, essential oils and natural clays which are soothing and calming. The fact that these soaps do not contain any harmful ingredients is reassuring that you are not feeding your skin toxic chemicals and ingredients.

How do I Store Cold-Pressed Soap?

Best to keep Cold Pressed Soap out of the sun, keep in a cool dry place. When being used place the soap bar in a soap dish, it can get gooey and mushy if left for long periods of time however a quick wash will sort that out. Also, coldpressed soap lasts a very long time so you can get a lot of washes out of the bar so best to keep in a soap dish and dry in between uses.

Does Cold-Pressed Soap Sweat? My daughter the other day screamed out “Mum your soap is growing ice on it”  well, good soap sweats and it can be described at little icicles forming its not any causing of alarm and is completely normal and can still be used as per normal.  The reason is simple as it is natural and full of gylcerin, thus a good quality bar of cold pressed soap will often "sweat" in humid weather due to the high content of natural humectants. A humectant is a substance that readily absorbs moisture from its surroundings and handmade soap is high in glycerine.

All you need to do is place your soap bar in the soap bag and scrub while your in the shower or bath! Hang to dry it out! It is the best and we always recommend using our cold pressed soaps with the Natural Sisal Soap Saver Bag because it stimulates blood flow, exfoliates the skin, increases the longevity of your soap as well as being biodegardable!

 Does Cold-Pressed Soap expire?

Although Cold Pressed soaps usually get better with age, we recommend using our soaps within 12 months of purchase. Our scented soaps should be used within 3 months after removing them from the box. Although the soaps will not be "spoiled" after that time, you may notice some changes as natural soap ages.
